The Woman Behind the Camera

Meet Danielle.

Photographer. Mother. Storyteller. The person who will make your senior feel like the most beautiful version of themselves — on their most important day.

About Danielle

A lifelong love affair with the camera.

My love of photography started when I was a kid — my father would fly past our house in his plane and tell me to wait outside so he could take an aerial photo of me. I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I asked for a camera for my birthday, and it never left my hand.

From film to digital, I've grown alongside this craft — learning, evolving, and falling more in love with it at every stage. Today, I'm proud to say that hundreds of incredible people have stepped in front of my lens, and every single one has left with images that tell their true story.

I'm a mother, a daughter, a wife — and a photographer who believes that the best portraits come from a place of genuine connection. Before I ever pick up my camera, I get to know you. Because the images that move you most aren't the ones where you're perfectly posed. They're the ones where you're completely, undeniably yourself.

The Musselman Philosophy

What you can always expect from me.

You feel seen.

Before we shoot a single frame, I take the time to understand who you are — your personality, your style, what makes you light up. The result is portraits that feel unmistakably like you

Every detail is considered.

From your wardrobe consultation to your final artwork delivery — I think through every step of the experience from head to toe, foreground to background. Nothing is left to chance.

The art is heirloom quality.

Every product I deliver is made to last generations — archival prints, hand-bound albums, and professionally framed portraits that belong on your walls, not buried in a digital folder.

Why Legacy Photography

This is more than a photo session.

Senior year passes faster than anyone expects. One day you're planning graduation parties, and the next you're watching your child leave for college — wondering where the time went. The portraits we create together are the ones you'll pull out at graduation parties, hang in dorm rooms, and place on the mantle for decades to come.

I've watched senior portrait photography evolve from a simple school photo into a full celebration of who your child has become. That shift — from documentation to art — is exactly what drives me to show up fully for every single session.

Serving families across Virginia and West Virginia, I bring a luxury boutique experience to every community I work in — because every senior deserves to feel extraordinary, no matter where they live.

"I think things through from start to finish, from head to toe, from foreground to background."

Let's create something your family will treasure.

Senior portrait sessions book quickly — especially for spring and fall. I'd love to learn about your senior and start planning an experience that's completely, beautifully theirs.
